About Nandini SHG – Kamdhenu

Nandini Self-Help Group (SHG), located in the village of Vadakwal, Taluka Solapur, was formed in 2013 through the UMED initiative. With support from the UMED campaign, Gram Sangh, block coordinators, and taluka officers, the group has grown into a successful women-led rural enterprise.

Today, the SHG produces Panchagavya-based products including milk, ghee, curd, cow urine, and cow dung – all derived from the indigenous Khillari cow. They also create value-added wellness and household items like Water Purifier Bhasm, contributing to over ₹12 lakh in annual revenue.
