About Nandini SHG – Kamdhenu

Nandini Self-Help Group (SHG), based in Vadakwal village, Taluka Solapur, was formed under the UMED initiative in 2013. With early financial aid and continued guidance from UMED, Gram Sangh, block coordinators, and taluka officers, the group has grown into a successful women-led rural enterprise.

Today, Nandini SHG produces high-quality Panchagavya products such as ghee, curd, cow dung cakes, vermicompost, and Gomutra, derived from the native Khillari cow breed. Their focus is on promoting organic farming and sustainable, chemical-free living.
